- Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (AT&T SGH-i537) running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Firmware (Ensure correct device model and firmware; to Check device model – Go to Settings -> About Device -> Model Number)
- PC or laptop running Windows
- Download Samsung Galaxy S4 Active USB driver for Windows to install on your computer.
- USB cable to connect device to computer.
- Enable USB Debugging on your device.
- Your phone should be charged to 60% to 80% to avoid battery blackout or interruption during this rooting process.

Step By Step Guide: How To Root Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
Step No.1: Ensure you allow third party app installation. (Goto Settings -> Security -> Tick on Unknown sources)
Step No.2: Now download ar.apk to your Samsung Galaxy S4 Active.
Step No.3: Open the downloaded file and proceed for installation.
Step No.4: Now after these steps, you will see a successful root installation message.
